BANFF, Alta. — There were minor injuries when a tour bus in Banff National Park rolled over on Tuesday night.

Banff RCMP say there were two dozen people on the bus, including the driver and a tour guide, when it flipped on Highway 1 near the exit to the Mt. Norquay ski area.

EMS confirmed 13 people were assessed in area hospitals, but there were no life-threatening injuries.

Roads were slushy and wet from an autumn snowfall.

RCMP say icy conditions were a factor.

Motorists were being advised to travel with caution in the area due to poor visibility, icy roads and blowing snow. (The Canadian Press, CTV Calgary)
