BANFF – The RCMP arrested a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breaching his parole conditions on Nov. 7.
Steven Michael Konowalchuk, 35, appeared before a judge on Nov. 8 to answer to ten charges relating to the possession of a loaded firearm and possession of material for the purpose of identity theft, according to the RCMP.
Konowalchuk has been returned to the federal corrections system and the matter remains under investigation by the Banff RCMP.
