Canada Day can be many things for different people and groups.

“I believe that Banff is a very safe community, but of course, we are not immune to crime, so when I look at the issue, for me, it’s about supporting prevention programs and initiatives and trying to prevent the crime from happening in the first place," said Banff Mayor Corrie DiManno.

“Do not get in your car, park the car, take transit, walk, bike – it’s a way more enjoyable experience,” said Banff Mayor Corrie DiManno

"I loved the team, loved the practices, great coaches. It was a blast to play in."

"It was tight, but we definitely played hard and played a way better game and I don’t think they were ready for it.”

“The last time we had this much snow, snowboarding wasn’t even around.”

“I want to get across the human impact on the environment. I really have a connection to this land and my hometown. I just want to make people aware of the impact tourism has on the environment and what impact we have on the wildlife here.”
