When history is gone, it is nearly impossible to replace it. It’s a struggle each community has to face as it needs to look forward for future generations, but not forget the past it came from.

The men's team is seeking players ahead of the 2022 summer season.

After 27,700 kilometres by foot, raft, kayak and bicycle from South America to North America, the women behind Her Odyssey are preparing for the last leg of their journey to the Arctic in Banff.

“There is other developments that are yet to begin construction, and some that have been allocated, but we haven’t received applications for… The largest outstanding being the last commercial development allotment, which was the train station.”

“I am concerned about the new method and so I think continuing a municipal census might be to our advantage… I strongly support us continuing to do a census, but I totally understand us not doing it this year," said Councillor Chip Olver.

“Our job is to be dispassionate observers and interpret the respective legislation to arrive at an outcome. This can be challenging when dealing with an emotional issue such as our community’s built heritage; however, that is the reality of our situation.”

“We’re getting noticed for providing excellent transit service and our move towards electrification and zero emissions. … It was really good and we’ll continue to see growth as we move forward.”

Estimated revenues are $120,000 for sidewalk seating applications in 2022, which is up from $99,500 last year, while permit revenue for outdoor merchandising is expected to be $6,400 compared to $3,200 in 2021.
