Airdrie RCMP issued a press release advising there is currently a police presence in Sagewood, as there was a bear spotted in the neighbourhood earlier today.
Alberta Fish and Wildlife personnel are currently en route, the afternoon release stated at 1:21 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 8.
"Please stay in your residence and away from Sagewood so this matter can be dealt with safely," the release reads.
