Cochrane RCMP respond to second report of child luring in four days

Mounties in a Southern Alberta town have put out an alert following a second child luring complaint within a four day period.

COCHRANE, Alta — Cochrane RCMP are investigating another report of an attempted child luring in the community.

On June 2 around 3:40 p.m., officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious male approaching two youths. The man attempted to lure the youths into a van, but the youths were able to get away to seek help from a parent. 

The male, described as having light coloured skin, orange/red hair with a beard and being between the ages of 40 to 50-years old, was seen driving a white panel van .

The report comes about four days after the last complaint.
