Missing Calgary man's remains located near Morley by Cochrane RCMP

Calgarian Keanan Crane's remains found after a month and a half missing.

COCHRANE, Alta — The remains of a Calgary man who was last seen April 11 have been located near Morley.

Keanan Crane, 22, was reported missing by his family April 25. He had last been seen in the northeast Calgary community of Whitehorn around 10 p.m. 

On May 15, Cochrane RCMP found human remains near Morley and subsequent efforts by law enforcement identified the individual to be Crane through obtained DNA. 

Police are investigating the death as suspicious due to the circumstances of his disappearance. 

“Keanan’s family members are devastated by this discovery and believe there are people that may know what happened to him,” said Calgary Police Service homicide unit staff Sgt. Sean Gregson. “Though his remains were found on the Stoney Nakoda Nation, we know that Keanan resided in Calgary and we encourage anyone with information to come forward to police.”
