BEIJING – Bow Valley athletes earned top 10s and personal bests over the past 24 hours in Beijing.
Alpine: Three-time Olympian Trevor Philp skied to 19th spot in Wednesday's (Feb. 9) alpine combined at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.
However, the big celebration after the race was over Toronto's Jack Crawford's huge bronze medal finish.
After missing the podium in downhill and super-G with sixth and fourth places, the third time was a charm for Crawford.
Canadians and Broderick Thompson and Brodie Seger also skied to top 10 results in alpine combined, finishing eighth and ninth, respectively.

Cross-Country: Another Olympic race, another personal best for Dahria Beatty.
The 27-year-old two-time Olympian finished 18th in the women's 10-kilometre classic at 30:00.2.

Katherine Stewart-Jones finished 36th, Cendrine Browne was 48th, and Olivia Nesbitt-Bouffard was 61st.
The top-20 result was Beatty's third personal best result at the Games. She also finished 28th in the skiathlon and 25th in sprint.
On social media, Beatty posted: "Left everything out on the track today and skied to 18th in the 10km individual start classic. A personal best individual start result for me. ... So excited to carry this energy into the team relay on Saturday."
Luge: Canada's mixed luge relay team finished sixth on Feb. 10.
The four-person team, consisting of doubles team Justin Snith and Tristan Walker, and single lugers Reid Watts and Trinity Ellis crossed the line at a time of 3:05.235 – less than a second off a podium.
