Highway crash leads to impaired charges

CANMORE – A 37-year-old Bragg Creek woman was charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm after two vehicles collided on the Trans-Canada Highway east of Canmore on March 15.

CANMORE – A 37-year-old Bragg Creek woman was charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm after two vehicles collided on the Trans-Canada Highway east of Canmore on March 15.

According to the RCMP, the two vehicles were travelling westbound on the highway near exit 91 when they crashed around 2:45 p.m.

The driver of one of the vehicles was transported to hospital and treated for injuries before being released.

The RCMP did not release the name of the accused because the information had not yet been signed.

She is scheduled to appear in Canmore Provincial Court on April 24.
