STARS responds after long boarding accident in Canmore

CANMORE – A 31-year-old Canmore man is in serious, life-threatening condition after a long boarding accident in the Larch neighbourhood on Thursday evening (March 21). The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. near 400 Larch Place.

CANMORE – A 31-year-old Canmore man is in serious, life-threatening condition after a long boarding accident in the Larch neighbourhood on Thursday evening (March 21).

The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. near 400 Larch Place. The man lost control of the long board when the wheels encountered gravel on the roadway.

The man was taken to Canmore Hospital and then transferred to Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary by STARS air ambulance. STARS confirmed he was in serious, life-threatening condition at the time.
