“I’d say it’s high-quality food. We really have a focus on helping the community. If we as a group can make a person’s Monday night that much better and easier because we know how expensive the town is, then we’ve accomplished something.”

"I think in the next few years, Canmore is going to become the team to beat. Last year we lost to them in our zones, so they were zone champions, so hopefully if there is a zone tournament, we can get them back. Our big goal is to win zones this year.”

“All three of our communities have a visitor population that surpasses our resident tax base, and so our residents currently help pay for that visitor infrastructure…we’re looking for that recognition to help take the burden off of our residents.”

“The core of what we do remains the waste recovery and it will remain that. There’s also a renewed commitment from the board members and the member municipalities to work more collaboratively together, to identify new opportunities where we may not have moved forward in the past but moving forward it’d be really important to look into opportunities.”

"We do have the talent to be at provincials this year and that’s certainly a goal.”
