Operations Supervisor
Full time contract position
- Responsible for supervising a small team of equipment operators to provide waste management services
- Responsible for performing a variety of duties and tasks in support of landfill, composting and recycling operations
- Responsible for organizing staff and equipment to facilitate operational objectives
- Responsible for safe and skilled operation of all BVWMC heavy equipment
- Responsible for field supervision and direction of tasks assigned to operational staff
- Responsible for developing work plans and schedules for operational staff
Successful Candidates:
- Should have previous experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders and excavators
- Should have previous experience of supervising and managing a team
- Must be able to communicate effectively and work as part of a busy team
- Should have positive energy, physical fitness and a good attitude
Waste management experience an asset.
Professional attitude and work ethic a must.
Full time contract position with excellent benefits
