LAKE LOUISE – Motorists are warned to stay clear of Highway 93 North after approximately 20 vehicles were involved in collisions or slid off the road due to winter driving conditions on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 30).
#LakeLouise RCMP are advising motorists that highway 93 north between Lake Louise and Jasper is impassible in both directions due to several traffic collisions. Please find alternate routes.

Mounties said the highway between Lake Louise and Jasper is “currently impassable” near Peyto Lake and have advised motorists not to attempt to drive the road at this time.
No injuries have been reported.

The RCMP said there is no time estimate when the collisions will be cleared and traffic can resume.
In a social media post, 511 Alberta said to "expect major delays."
