Men's downhill rescheduled in Lake Louise due to foggy weather

Foggy weather has claimed the opening day of the Lake Louise alpine world cup.

LAKE LOUISE – Fog and heavy snow has claimed the opening day of the Lake Louise alpine world cup.

Organizers cancelled Friday's (Nov. 25) men's downhill race due to the "present weather situation" reducing visibility at the top of the mountain, opting to reschedule the downhill to Saturday (Nov. 26) at 12:30 p.m. MST, at Lake Louise Ski Resort.

There is currently no update on Saturday or Sunday's (Nov. 26-27) scheduled men's super-G race.
