The Canmore Eagles ended their AJHL regular season with a bang as they thrashed the Olds Grizzlys 8-3 at Alex Kaleta Arena, Friday (Feb. 28).

They’re down, but not out. The Canmore Eagles still have a slight chance to finish fifth in the AJHL Southern Division and avoid a first round matchup with the troublesome Okotoks Oilers despite sputtering through a winless weekend.

Alex Harvey loves Falun. The Canadian cross-country ski phenom, dubbed the prince of Quebec, became the first Canadian male in history to win two medals at world championships, grabbing silver in the classic sprint and bronze in the 30-kilometre skiathlon in the Swedish ski mecca. Harvey has now won five medals in Falun since 2012.
