I have experienced two terms (7 years). This will be my 3rd term and I am running again because I fee there are too many issues that are yet to be completed.
By way of my career I gained 40 years of business experience dealing with regulations contracts and negotiations. I am a team player and work well with my colleagues.
We have yet to complete negotiations with the Province regarding flood mitigations for all three of my hamlets within Ward 2 as well as Exshaw. Also, Dead Man's Flats has yet to meet it's objectives as a completely new community with specific needs and desires and I, as Councillor, would like to assist in that goal.
Dead Man's Flats, Lac Des Arcs and Harvie Heights are all unique communities with unique needs and desires. As an MD with 4 Wards, it is often difficult to satisfy all needs.
