OHL Roundup: Allensen's OT goal gives Barrie Colts 4-3 victory over Hamilton Bulldogs

HAMILTON — Nathan Allensen scored 24 seconds into overtime to give the Barrie Colts a 4-3 win over the Hamilton Bulldogs in OHL action Sunday afternoon.

The goal was Allensen's second of the season. 

Beau Jelsma's goal at 15:34 of the third period forced overtime for Barrie (6-5-1). Nicholas Porco and Brandt Clarke also scored for the Colts.

Jonathan Melee, Nathan Staios and Cole Brown scored for the Bulldogs (7-4-2).

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Chas Sharpe had two goals to lead the Steelheads (6-4-1). Alec Leonard had the lone goal for the IceDogs (4-8-0).

67'S 2 BATTALION 1

OTTAWA – Dylan Robertson's short-handed goal on a penalty shot at 19:33 of the third period was the winner for the 67's (8-4-0). Brady Stonehouse had the other goal while Kyle Jackson replied for the Battalion (8-6-0).

STING 4 OTTERS 1

SARNIA, Ont. – Ty Voit, Nolan Dann and Cameron Supryka scored third-period goals to carry the Sting (3-5-2) to victory. Nikita Tarasevich also scored while Noah Sedore replied shorthanded for the Otters (3-7-1).

FRONTENACS 6 PETES 5 (OT)

KINGSTON, Ont. – Lucas Edmonds scored on the power play at 2:59 of overtime to earn the Frontenacs (6-3-2) the win. Matthew Soto had two goals for the winners. Tucker Robertson scored twice for the Petes (4-7-1).

GENERALS 4 WOLVES 1

OSHAWA, Ont. – Matthew Buckley scored twice and Calum Ritchie had three assists for Oshawa (6-3-3), which has not lost in regulation in six straight games. Kocha Delic scored the lone goal for Sudbury (5-8-1).
