Genoa Colins

Genoa Colins passed away September 6, 2021 at the age of 101 years at the Canmore General Hospital. Genoa was born in Camrose, AB on September 3, 1920.

What made Genoa so special was her elegance and grace.  She always looked the picture of perfection.  A long time Banff resident, her Banff story began in June of 1959, when she opened her store, Miracle Aisle on Banff Ave.  Genoa moved on to the rental business and established herself as a business woman early on.

Genoa is survived by her daughter Diane Colins, son Floyd (Ahnne) Colins, grandchildren -  Kevan (Edwina), Kathie, Dhorea, Sharie and Garde as well as great grandchildren, Alex, Georgia, Jossh, Chloi and Daimeohn.  We will always love you and carry you with our hearts.

Thank you so much to Dr. E Morin for all the care and kindness provided for Genoa.  Special thanks also to Keisha and all the staff at the Canmore

Hospital and to the staff at Origin at Spring Creek for their care of Genoa

over the last 6 years.

Her love of Banff lives on and she will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
