Grace Geals
March 7, 1933 - December 25, 2020
Emily Grace Geals passed away suddenly at the age of 87 years peacefully in Calgary, Ab
at Agecare Skypointe where she resided the last 2 yrs. Grace was predeceased by her
husband, Allan Geals in 1990, her sisters Alice Black and Florence Petrie in
Australia and her parents Myrtle and Alfred Cameron. Grace will be forever
lovingly remembered by her daughters Sharon, Linda and Michele (Norman) as well as
her grandchildren Rebecca (Dennis), Megan (Dustin), Carissa (Karl) and
Brandon. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Atticus and Oliver who brought
much joy to her life and by her many nieces and nephews in Australia.
Grace was born and raised in Australia and was a member of the Australian
Women’s' Army. When discharged, she ventured to Canada where she met and
married the love of her life, Allan Geals. They shared 31 years before his
passing.
Grace was a wife and mother all her years. She was a member of the
Three Sisters Royal Canadian Legion and ladies Auxiliary. She was also a proud member
of the Rebekas.
Her life was lived to its fullest through her daughters, grandchildren and
great-grandchildren after her husbands passing.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made, in her memory, to the Heart
and Stroke Foundation
