Jim Yardley

1960 - 2022

James Robert (Jim) Yardley gained his wings and left this world January 4th, 2022 after a short, yet fierce battle with cancer.

Jim was a devoted, hardworking family man who lived in the Bow Valley for nearly 30 years prior to recently re-locating to Cochrane.   To have known Jim was to love him. He was witty, kind, strong, naturally hilarious and unconditionally loving. He was the go-to guy if friends needed a hand. Jim was an integral part of Canmore Printcraft where he worked for over 20+ years, up until shortly after his diagnosis.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Yardley and his daughter Bree-Ann Yardley, sons Shawn Yardley and Allan Yardley, sisters Sandy Yardley and Susan Skett (Yardley), nieces Kimberly Wilson, Jodie Yardley-Scetto, Jordan Skett and nephews Shane Wilson, Jeff , Joshua and Matthew Yardley and Zachary Skett.

Jim was predeceased by his brothers William, Thomas, David and Michael Yardley.

We would like to thank a few of his close friends; Dan and Martin Huard, John Shand, Jeff and Sandra Pond and Rambo for all their continued help both prior to Jim's passing and now. Additionally we would like to thank Tina and Pete for all their support.

A celebration of life will be held for Jim at a later date.

We love you papa.

Time heals the broken hearted, but it has stood still since you left.
