Whyte Museum appoints new CEO

BANFF – The Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies announced it will welcome a brand new chief executive officer to the organization this summer. Donna Livingstone has been named as the new CEO of the Whyte in Banff.

BANFF – The Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies announced it will welcome a brand new chief executive officer to the organization this summer.

Donna Livingstone has been named as the new CEO of the Whyte in Banff.

According to a press release, Livingstone spent six years at the Glenbow Museum in Calgary, leading them through “achievements in financial management, in improved attendance, and in innovative exhibitions and programs.”

“We are pleased that someone with such excellent credentials has chosen to work with us. Over the past several years, the strengths of the museum have grown, thanks to strong leadership in all aspects of operations,” Marino DiManno, chair of the board of directors for the Peter and Catharine Whyte Foundation, said in the release.

Livingstone will be taking over the position as of June 24, 2019.

Whyte Museum widely focuses on the culture and exploration that makes up the Rockies and was founded by Peter and Catharine Whyte.
