Highway 1A reopen after vehicle rollover

Highway 1A has reopened following a single vehicle rollover.

HIGHWAY 1A – Highway 1A near Morley has reopened following a single vehicle rollover that caused minor injuries on Monday (Jan. 3) afternoon.

Police said a section of the secondary highway was closed down between Highway 1A west of Morley to Highway 1X near Seebe for a few hours while crews worked to remove the vehicle.

Police did not say how many passengers were inside the vehicle or factors that caused the accident.

According to Environment Canada, two centimetres of snow is set to fall Monday in Canmore and Cochrane, the two closest towns near the accident scene, and flurries have been on and off in the Bow Valley.
