RCMP seek man wanted for attempted murder charges

Cochrane RCMP are looking for Malik Holloway, who is charged with attempted murder after an Aug. 4 incident on the Stoney Nakoda First Nation left another person with serious injuries

STONEY NAKODA – Malik Holloway is wanted on attempted murder charges after an Aug. 4 incident left another person with serious injuries.

On Aug. 4, Cochrane RCMP responded to reports of a male in serious medical distress on the Stoney Nakoda First Nation. Upon arrival it was determined the victim received serious injuries as the result of an assault.

"The victim was transported to a Calgary area hospital with serious undetermined injuries," RCMP officials wrote in a press release.

Cochrane RCMP said they cannot release additional details about the assault as it is an active investigation. Cpl. Watson with the RCMP said if anyone sees Holloway to call police immediately.

Holloway is described as Indigenous with black hair and brown eyes. At approximately 160 lbs and 5'11 with several small facial tattoos, RCMP notes there is a 1" cross under his left eye.
