EDITORIAL: As several hundred municipalities compete to get a slice of the federal government’s $4 billion Housing Accelerator Fund pie, it’s anything but a handout.

LETTER: Never in our history have we so needed a passionate, committed and relentlessly informed citizenry than we do now.

“I think we have seen recently how that goal for 2035 can happen in sustainable ways and aligned with community values with the [FIS] Cross-Country World Cup, which had a record-breaking attendance, and athletes, teams, officials, spectators stayed in our hotels, enjoyed downtown and contributed to an overall great atmosphere in town.”

“In the spirit of truth and reconciliation, we really wanted to build a path forward for the entire district. Now all of our schools are being visited at request by the knowledge keepers sharing their wisdom, language and culture.”

COMMENTARY: There is one thing doctors and patients can readily agree upon: we both hate sick notes.
