Anyone who is interested in or concerned about the final phase of the Banff Bear Street reconstruction should read the written submissions that are part of the Banff council minutes of March 8, 2021, and the Bear Street Reconstruction Review, both of which are posted on the Banff town website.
The submissions address concerns such as poor Town/contractor/Bear Street businesses communication, and lack of public input on items such planters and trees, street furniture, and an ATCO gas fire pit at the entrance of the Bear Street surface parking lot, which are all apparently “done deals.”
Communications should be directed to Banff Town council and Town administration.
