No need to make this a long letter.
Any further development east of Canmore along the Three Sisters will end up hurting wildlife and diminishing what makes this valley so special.
Unfortunately, I do not have a lot of faith in the right thing being done, as developers and money invariably always triumph.
An example to me of how the Town addresses issues would be affordable housing. There is a lot of lip service to affordable housing, but there really is none, no businesses are truly required to provide it, and at the end of the day it makes living in this town more like day to day survival, much like the wildlife have to look forward to for the average person/family.
But I know council will make a strong statement of "our thoughts and prayers are with the animals and low wage earners."
