Editor:

The unenforced, or very lightly enforced speed limit of 90 km/h on the Trans-Canada Highway in Banff National Park is ridiculous.

It places drivers like myself who try to obey speed limits in a very awkward position. Do we observe the speed limit and become a road hazard as a slow vehicle, or go with the flow and break the law?

Driving home in the afternoon from Lake Louise to Canmore on Sept. 25, every vehicle passed me, despite my driving at 100 km/h. This included two Roam Transit buses.

I, and I suspect many others, would either like this ignored speed limit increased, or the current limit enforced.

Bob St. John,

Canmore
