Ernie Barber from the University of Saskatchewan and Innovate Canmore CEO Brian McLure are really good at telling us what they’re really good at.
Barber states the U of S is "really good at education in preparing people for careers and discovery, especially in areas that are important to the prairies.” Whatever that means.
And Mr. McLure talks about entrepreneurs and business people who want to come to Canmore. Sounds really awesome.
I just hope these two guys are really good at insuring there is affordable housing in place for every student and entrepreneur they intend to bring to Canmore, before they get here.
Residents are getting really tired of hearing about affordable housing problems, year after year, when businesses and organizations can’t find housing for their people they bring in.
