I am dismayed that Stone Creek Resorts want to push forward with its proposed Mount Lady Macdonald gondola project. Hopefully the province will push for full assessment studies to determine possible weaknesses in the proposal.

Firstly, the project will likely upset the movement in the forest of the elk herd, mule deer and coyotes. Secondly, there will likely be more traffic congestion and noise for residents along Palliser Trail. More concerning is traffic congestion will possibly impede firetrucks from getting onto Palliser Trail in case of any emergencies.

In addition, there may be prevented access to the Cemetery. Surely, Stone Creek Resorts can find other projects.
