LETTER: Letter writer questions protest sign

I feel compelled to address the front picture of the June 25 issue of the Outlook where an energized Charlie Buffler is championing a sign "Racism is small dick energy."

While I support the voice against racism, in this era of political correctness – sexually objectifying any gender is not much better than message against racism to begin with.

Perhaps he was merely trying to get a rise out of me?

It did give me a pause to ponder his logic so that if "Racism is small dick energy," does that imply supporting "Black lives Matter" is big dick energy?

Either way, the message does not measure up and certainly was not worthy of front page positioning.

Tim Nokes,

Canmore
