We just renewed our annual Parks Canada pass and received our Banff National Park visitor guide. We've visited dozens of countries and have never seen so much high quality, easy-to-read, valuable information in one document.

Large maps at different scales showing campgrounds and trails are all colour coded with logical pictograms everywhere showing everything visitors need from the best viewpoints to toilet locations. There are links to real time parking status and a site showing all 'red chair' locations.

Parks Canada shuttles and Roam transit are featured and promoted as popular attractions. The Icefields Parkway map includes a 233-kilometre elevation profile and shows kilometres from Lake Louise or Jasper, to dozens of the best sites.

Simple, effective illustrations showing how to identify all wildlife, camping and campfire tips with great do and don't do photos. There are too many features to name. Kudos to all those responsible for creating this incredibly useful guide. We are proud to share it with visitors and residents alike.

Don Mulligan,
