As we make attempts to relaunch, I want to give a shout out to mayors and councils who want to create car-free zones in our lovely mountain towns.
This will create relaxing spaces for locals and visitors to move safely and breathe our amazing alpine air.
The City of Milan is implementing its "Strade Aparte" plan originally booked to hit the streets in 2030, as they attempt to reopen their city.
We can create our own open street plan now, allowing for car-fee zones where humans can walk and bike.
After all, cars don't shop, people do.
