To make the most of the sunny days of this summer and fall, I have been riding my mobility scooter to all parts of Canmore. The small wheels and small frame size results in a very bumpy ride on all surfaces except where the asphalt paving is smooth.

In order to reach the paving of the path to Three Sisters Mountain Village, I have to traverse a long stretch of bumpy gravel surface from the river bridge, past West Canmore Park and along the river bank. This section is quite busy, but must also be uncomfortable for other small-wheel traffic, so it would be a great benefit to have this section treated with smooth asphalt paving, wide enough for future increase of numbers.

Brian Carter,

Canmore
