I would like to commend the leadership behind the decision to require vaccination at Sunshine, Norquay and Nakiska.

I was very surprised to learn that Lake Louise is not doing the same. Requiring vaccination at these winter attractions will keep our destination safe. I don't assume that Lake Louise ski hill wants to become the chosen hill for the unvaccinated, nor do I think it wants to aggravate the international visitors who all had to show proof of vaccination to come to Canada.

After last season's challenges with outbreaks, I would have thought lessons were learned. We also didn't have vaccines then, but we do now.

Please reconsider your decision Lake Louise – join your ski hill resort neighbours and do your part to encourage those who want to ski this winter to get the shot. It's the only way we all get out of this pandemic.
