If the request by "100 businesses" to close the 100 and 200 blocks of Banff Avenue is "a proposal" "under very serious consideration" with options to be brought to Banff Council "by the end of May" (as reported in the May14 RMO article by Cathy Ellis), who gave the go-ahead to block off the curb-side lanes of these two blocks over the May 16-18 long weekend?
And who is paying for the work involved?
