I read with some sadness the letter in the Oct. 20 Outlook "Company needs to do more to right the wrong made". In reference to Mr. Walker’s desire to know “significant efforts” have been undertaken by the company.
It is widely known Valbella took immediate steps to address the misguided personal opinion of Jeff von Rotz and follow-up measures to mitigate the damage he had perpetrated, both within our community and the von Rotz family business.
I would suggest to him – and others who are still skeptical – to drive up to Elk Run Boulevard and have a coffee with Walter von Rotz. I’m sure he would like to know what more Valbella can do to gain the trust and support of those who have been offended.
In the not-to-distant past in Canmore, we looked after each other. I hope those days are not gone forever. Maybe buy a Tourtiere for supper.
