On behalf of two Grade 3 teachers and their students at Elizabeth Rummel School, we would like to thank Raj and Vaani, from Indian Authentic Cuisine in Canmore, for giving our students a truly authentic Indian lunch as we wrapped up our study of India.

When we phoned Raj to ask if he would be able to prepare a sampling of food for our students, he was more than happy to help.

He commented on how Canmore was such a welcoming community and that he appreciated the opportunity to give back. In fact, Raj and Vaani brought students a full buffet.

For many students this was the first time experiencing Indian cuisine and they were thrilled. Raj and Vaani, your food was delicious and we are so happy to have you in Canmore.

You have created a wonderful connection with our school and community.

We are confident that having had a taste of India, word will spread about your outstanding food.

Liz Wuitschik and Jenny McKenzie,

Grade 3 Teachers at Elizabeth Rummel School, Canmore
