A big thank you to all the Banff residents who offered to help free my car at the exit from the Whyte Museum a parking lot on March 10.
A special thank you to the wonderful police officer for his immediate assistance and figuring out how to get the car off its icy snowbank pedestal.
Thank you to another officer for one more shovel and many thanks to two gentlemen who pulled the car back onto the road.
Oh, and one more thing – although at some point in a young person's life all people over 30 are considered old, please call any stranded lady a "damsel in distress" and not an "old lady."
Even if she is several hundred years older than you.,
