Editor: Re: Against conservation tax I would like to clarify some misunderstandings about the Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative’s (Y2Y) Canmore Conservation Fund concept that have been made evident in recent letters.

Editor: The parking appeal of the Deer Lane Housing project was withdrawn on Feb. 22, even though we still believe a 44 per cent reduction in parking will significantly impact neighbours.

Editor: The front page of the Feb. 23 edition of the Outlook carried a story that should concern all residents of Canmore.

Editor: In response to the letter in last week’s Outlook, Homes to replace forest, I make the following observations: 1. There has never been an officially designated area of undeveloped land in Canmore named Larch Park.

Editor: It’s with great interest that I read the article about the wolves and cougars within the boundaries of Canmore and the problem of the elk and other ungulates that attack them.

Editor: Banff’s population problem just got more interesting.
