Airdrie RCMP Seek Public Assistance in Identifying Vehicle involved in a hit and run

Airdrie RCMP is looking for information regarding a black Jeep Liberty involved in a hit and run on Oct. 18.

On Oct. 18 at 8:50 a.m., a female pedestrian was crossing East Lake Blvd. at East Lake Crescent when a 2008-2012 black Jeep Liberty turned on East Lake Blvd from East Lake Crescent N.E. striking the pedestrian on the crosswalk.

The Liberty did not stop, leaving southbound on East Lake Boulevard, according to an RCMP press release.

Witnesses report the driver of the vehicle was an adult female who had a female passenger.

The pedestrian was treated on scene and sustained minor physical injuries, the release stated.
