No jail time for Saskatoon woman who threatened to kill Prime Minister

If Marly Dansereau abides by her conditional sentence order she won't have a criminal record.

SASKATOON – A 25-year-old woman who made online threats against Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was given a conditional sentence. This means if Marly Dansereau abides by her CSO for one year, she won’t have a criminal record.

The Crown and defence entered a joint submission to Saskatoon Provincial Court on Jan. 10, which the judge accepted.

Videos on an informal group chat between Alberta and Saskatchewan residents, which some in the chat didn't know was being secretly recorded and then posted online, show Dansereau making comments that Trudeau had been only a few hours away from her and if someone paid her to take time off work she would "do it."
