But, luckily for you, there is a whole slew of experts who are ready to support you and guide you through the entire process. Regardless of whether you’re a seasoned real estate expert or you’re completely new to the game, you need a ton of hands on deck. If you’re not sure where to begin, we’ve rounded up a list of experts you want in your corner before you take the plunge.

Real Estate Agent

While enlisting a real estate agent is not required, it can take a huge weight off of the entire process, especially if you’re not familiar with the ins and outs of purchasing real estate. Real estate agents advocate for you and your goals including the price, location, size, and specifics that you are looking to find in your dream home. They will help you find the perfect fit and then support you in making an offer and negotiating with the seller. Experienced real estate agents know the industry and the market front-to-back, so they’ll make sure you’re not missing any fine print and that you’re asking all the right questions.

Bank or Mortgage Broker

Next up, you’ll need a mortgage. This is one of the first steps you will take in the buying process as you’ll want to be pre-approved for a mortgage before you begin shopping around.
