Cochrane RCMP are investigating a suspicious death after a body was discovered near the Springbank Airport.
The deceased man's body was found Sunday morning (Dec. 29) at 8:30 a.m. off a rural road near the airport, which is located adjacent to the Trans-Canada Highway between the Highway 22 interchange and the Calgary city limits.
According to an RCMP press release, the Major Crimes Unit is investigating and it is believed the cause of death was suspicious.
An autopsy is scheduled for Dec. 31 and investigators are working to identify the deceased.
