BAGLEY, Dorothy Patience (nee Fursse)
July 28, 1935 – February 12, 2021
Dorothy Patience Bagley passed away in Calgary of natural causes, surrounded by her loving husband, David Bagley and all her six children, Jonathan and Sheila Bagley, (Benjamin and Sarah), Frances Bagley, Martin Bagley and Kim Vincent (Sophie), Anne and Mike Logan (Evan, Skylar and Linden), Heather (Kyle, Ella and Julia), and Rosina and Jay Pearce (Zachary, Alexandra and Aiden). She was predeceased by her siblings, Sylvia Hay and Michael Fursse; and her parents, Doris and Edward Fursse.
Dorothy had a fulfilling life. She met her loving husband David behind Norquay Mountain. They married in 1965, and were blessed to have six children. Dorothy worked at Quest helping children with disabilities and then volunteered at A.R.B.I. She was an active member of St Peter’s Anglican Church, and acted as the president for the A.C.W.
She enjoyed the mountains, knitting, gardening, playing the flute, baking and reading. Mom greeted everyone with a hug and a sincere welcome. On her walks with Dave, she stopped to talk to everyone, as she loved making new friends.
A Private Funeral Service will be held, on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 3:00 p.m., at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, officiated by Rev. Jagdutt Singh.
