A contrast in Richards' support

Editor: It is amusing to contrast the Rocky Mountain Outlook’s front page headline, Richards waffles on valley election forums, and the weekly political cartoon, versus the Vox Populi letters.

In the headline it is apparent Richards, despite being our full-time, paid spokesman from Ottawa, isn’t prepared to answer our questions. He “wants to have final stamp of approval on the format of the debate, not liking open mic and unstructured questions.”

In contrast, in the Vox Populi letters (Candidates should be familiar with issues) his supporters give Richards credit for informing us of the visa problems his leader has created for the tourism business in Banff, while criticizing those striving to represent us in Ottawa for not having instant answers to questions about this problem which was just created by the Harper government.
