Banff a national park for everyone

Editor: “Teachers, firefighters, nurses, doctors, police officers. These people make our community and are far more important than 150 workers housed like animals.” Mr. Cristou, what an awful thing to say.

I do commend you for speaking out on this project. Its density issue and its effect on the long established community that Caribou Properties has had no regard for, but belittling the workers who will live there by saying that some workers in Banff are not as important as others is hardly the answer.

If that’s the way that some wish to see it then maybe we workers, the engine of the tourism industry here in Banff, should up and go somewhere else. See what’s left of “your” community then.

This is a national park town. A national park for all. Not just people that look like you Mr. Cristou.

Jim Francis,

Banff
