It is refreshing to see the likes of Kyndra Biggy and her friends supporting the cause of keeping Canmore rabbits alive and well. Good for her.
Dianne Kalk also had some good points – at the end of her letter, she wonders what’s next – “should we lobby town council to get rid of the evil deer?”
Well, if you look a couple of hours away from us, in the town of Invermere, British Columbia, it is now before the council to cull the deer. Their crimes are being too prolific, as well as eating the flowers in local neighbourhoods.
Many people there refer to them as large rodents.
Is this in our future?
