“We flush toilets for 25,000 a day on a tax base of 9,000 people” – good one former mayor Stutz. Canadians should be getting used to this. They should be getting used to the quagmire consuming them under the runaway train of spending a leftist government represents.

This young government has demonstrated it will perform any trick with the taxpayer’s dollar, or say pretty well anything to lock in the votes. Giving away tens of millions in gate fees in 2017 (should be some mess to police and clean up after), a like number of tens of millions more in completely free health care to foreigners not even landed here yet (some of the same care not as readily available to Canadians who’ve waited for years for help), and freeing rogue Indian tribal councils from telling the financier where the billions handed them to distribute among “their people” disappears to each year – money that can’t even buy the toilet Cori Brewster talks about in her letter.

The day is fast approaching where those who pay for all the free crap others abuse and don’t contribute to will be in the minority, then who will finance the freebies? As history has shown, about that time the Conservative bunch will be back in the saddle – inheriting the mess left behind, shouldering all the blame.
