Editor: I’m writing to invite the Bow Valley community to be a part of the inaugural Hope Decoded summit at The Banff Centre on Friday, March 27.
This one-day event will bring over 150 business executives, First Nations leaders, not-for-profits, elected officials, activist athletes, authors and speakers together for a conversation around fostering hope, and we want the voice of the Bow Valley in the room.
This is a great opportunity for local not-for-profit groups, environmental organizations, family support services and individuals to join the conversation on social innovation across critical pillars of society: indigenous rights, the environment, culture, income inequality. And, to eliminate any obstacles for your participation, not-for-profit and local rates are available.
The goal won’t be to solve hopelessness. No one person – or one group – has that capability. Instead, the Hope Decoded summit will support organizations and people leading long-term social change initiatives that contribute to the well-being and resiliency of communities.
Together, we’ll discuss better questions, suggest new starting points and generate tangible road maps that can spark a fresh take on tackling hopelessness.
Help us make Hope Decoded more than just another summit, but a first step toward conquering what I believe to be the greatest challenges of our generation.
