Three cheers for the $1,000 fine levied to the off-leash dog violator.
The only way to deal with these vagrant disregards of the law is to hit them in the pocket book. I would like to see $5,000, but $1,000 might help.
How these people can get fined again and again and don’t care is too much. I remember the lady in Banff who got fined a few years ago for doing the same thing and only being caught when her dog brought a grizzly back into the family units of Middle Springs.
She did not care about the community or all of the children and not even her dogs. They did not reveal her fine, but I hope it was in the thousands.
Keep up the fines and make them bigger.
